Outpatient Clinician (Palm Desert)

FT/40hrs. Provide therapeutic services to clients; assessment, treatment planning, individual, group and family therapy, discharge planning, participation in Child and Family Team under the direct supervision of the Outpatient Program Manager. Provide weekly individual, group, and/or family therapy to clients and caregivers. Maintain detailed records of significant contacts, incidents, relationships, treatment team meetings, group, individual, and family sessions, and case management activity. (i.e., Mental Health Documentation). Submit assessments, care plans, and other documentation to supervisor within timelines. Qualified candidates must possess a master’s degree in psychology or social work and possess a license/registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences or the Board of Psychology. Working knowledge of computer programs including Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite is required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) REQUIRED. This position begins at $75,000/year.

Outpatient Peer Support Specialist (Perris)

FT/40 hrs. Assists clinic clients in learning the skills necessary to interact successfully with adults and peers across all settings. The specialist creates opportunity for clients to practice prosocial behavior, problem solving, and coping skills which will prepare the client to transition to a less restrictive family setting with minimal reliance on formal supports. The specialist maintains a positive coaching and mentoring relationship with client/youth and serves as role model for client/youth to promote an optimal level of functioning. Qualified candidates must have been a former foster youth or recipient of mental health services. Reliable transportation, acceptable driving record and valid California DL are required. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred. This position is at an hourly rate of $20/hr.

Residential

Youth Partner (Perris)

PT & FT. Responsible for the supervision of youth (males and females, ages 12-18) in a residential group home. This includes mentoring and being a good role model, teaching independent living skills, behavior modifications and crisis management. Qualified applicants must be at least 21 years of age. One year of previous residential experience in a related field preferred, but not required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred or relevant lived or professional experience in foster care or providing care for at-risk youth. This position is at an hourly rate of $23/hour.

Mental health

Outpatient Behavioral Health Specialist (Perris)

FT/40 hr. The Behavioral Specialist will provide direct service to children and families as identified in an individualized plan of care. This program is field-based and requires working independently in the family’s home and in a variety of community and/or treatment settings. Provide support services and skills training to children and family members including but not limited to behavioral modification programs, independent living skills, home management/ household services, transportation assistance when necessary. Candidates are required to work within a team, be flexible, dependable, organized and have good communications skills, and must be able to meet families in homes and community. Qualified candidates MUST possess a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and a minimum of one year experience working with at-risk children/youth OR four years relevant experience working with at-risk children/youth. Must also have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, good driving record, current auto insurance, and be able to pass a criminal background screening. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred. This position begins at a hourly rate of $22.50/hour.

MENTAL HEALTH

Program Supervisor (Glendale)

FT/40 hrs. The Program Supervisor is responsible for the training, support and supervision of a team of Wraparound Facilitators, Child and Family Specialists and Parent Partners.  Program Supervisors are also responsible for attending County Wraparound Meetings and interacting with County Wraparound Administration personnel as directed by Program Director. Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or a related field and a minimum of five years of experience in the field of family or child welfare services. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Starting pay range $67,000 per year.

Bilingual Clinician (Bellflower) 

FT/ 40 hrs. This position is responsible for providing therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults enrolled in our Mental Health programs. Develop and implement client treatment plans, provide related services such as case management and collateral care. Work in collaboration with other Mental Health staff including Clinicians, Psychiatrists, TBS/Behavioral Coaches, and other program’s staff. Assist with the coordination and facilitation of Medication Support Services provided by the agency’s contracted Psychiatrist. Qualified candidates must have a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, or Social Work, and be registered with the BBS. Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. Starting pay range $76,000-$78,000 per year. 

Facilitator (Glendale)

FT/40 hrs. The Facilitator is responsible for coordinating and implementing Wraparound services to each assigned client. Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, one-year experience working with high-risk youth, and must be bi-lingual (English/Spanish). Starting pay at $26 per hour.

ADOPTION PROMOTION SUPPORT SERVICES

Lead Case Manager (Bellflower) 

FT/40 hrs. The Lead APSS Case Manager will provide support for all individuals impacted by adoption with the goal of achieving or maintaining permanence. The Lead Case Manager will also manage a modified caseload in addition to overseeing assigned case managers. Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 2 years working within child welfare and family systems, and/or trauma-informed work, including adoption-related experience. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required. Starting pay range $27-29 per hour.  

Lead Case Manager (Glendale)

FT/40 hrs. The Case Manager will supervise the placement for each referred APSS client and provide support for all individuals related to client with the goal of achieving permanence. The Case Manager will be responsible for conducting intake assessments, obtaining information necessary to determine which services are appropriate and available to address the family’s needs. Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required. Starting pay range $24-26 per hour.  

Child Mentor (Bellflower) 

PT/10 hrs. The Child Mentor will partner with children in the pre- or post-adoptive process to offer encouragement and support before, during and/or after the adoption process. Nurse (Los Angeles County) 

On-Call. The On-Call Nurse will visit clients on a monthly basis and review individual Healthcare Plan, medication documenting and medical resource development. Qualified candidates must be a registered nurse with two years of pediatric experience.

Development Director (Santa Ana)

FT/40 hrs. Responsible for planning and implementing fundraising and public awareness activities in Orange and San Diego Counties that align with and support Olive Crest’s organizational goals for development, sustainability, and major gift initiatives. Qualified candidates must have 3 to 5 years of experience in fundraising, non-profits and working with volunteers. Managerial experience preferred. Starting salary range of $130,000 – $150,000 per year.

Events Coordinator

PT/ Up to 20 hrs. The Event Coordinator to the Community Development Manager provides support for planning and executing fundraising events, coordinating volunteer group activities, and maintaining detailed records of all activities and donor information.  This person will interact with vendors, volunteers and existing and potential donors. Qualified candidates must have professional telephone manner and interaction with individuals at all levels. Must be flexible regarding schedule as events may be held on nights and weekends. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.  Starting rate of $30 per hour.

FT/40 hrs. Responsible for classroom management, curriculum-based instruction, instruction aligned with Common Core Standards, and for the physical, psychological and social well-being of the students. Responsible to carry out instruction for students according to each student’s IEP.  Qualified candidates must have a valid Educational Specialist Credential or be Intern eligible. Starting salary range of $65,000- $85,400 per year.

Assistant Teacher (Garden Grove)

FT/ 40 hrs. Responsible for assisting teachers in guiding students in the classroom. Responsible for the transportation of students to and from school as directed by supervisor. Assist in record keeping, photocopying, tutoring, and behavior modification at educational site as needed. Qualified candidates must have at least a high school diploma. Related experience preferred. Assistant teachers with 30-day sub permits may also sub for a teacher. The subs will fill in during the absence of full-time staff. (ongoing recruitment) Starting pay rate of $20 – $22.75 per hour.

Long Term Substitute Teacher (Garden Grove)

FT/40 hrs. Adoption Social Worker (Santa Ana) 

FT/40hrs. Responsible for working independently with adequate supervision to provide a range of services offered by Olive Crest. The Social Worker must be able to provide adoption related counseling, individual counseling to parents and children, family therapy, group leadership, educational group leadership, foster/adoptive family assessment, placement, and post-placement supervision. In addition, the Social Worker must be able to do some public speaking, community education, community resource development, and represent Olive Crest as appropriate in community and other contacts. Qualified candidates should have a related master’s degree in social work, marriage and family counseling, child psychology, or related field and relevant work experience. Starting salary range of $70,000 – $72,000 per year.

Family Support Specialist (Santa Ana)

FT/ 40 hrs. Responsible for providing support and resources to assigned families through a mentoring and coaching relationship, to stabilize placement of children in the home.  Serve as a liaison between the family and the system partners involved in the family’s life. Qualified candidates must have related life experience as a parent or legal guardian of a child and experience as a recipient of services. Spanish speaking is preferred. Must have related, personal experience as a parent or legal guardian of a recipient of social services.  Starting pay rate of $24 – $24.50 based on a bilingual differential.

Peer Specialist (Anaheim) 

FT/40 hrs. Creates a welcoming and supportive environment for clients accessing the Drop-In Center. Maintains the safety of the space for participants, co-workers, volunteers, and the community. Engages with the clients to develop health connections. Qualified candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field and experience working with clients in an employment or volunteer capacity or demonstrate lived experience that aligns with the population being served. Spanish is preferred, not required. Starting pay rate of $24 – $24.50 based on a bilingual differential.

STRTP Clinician (Santa Ana)

FT/40hrs. Will provide therapeutic services to children 13-17 years of age in our residential treatment program. VISITATION CENTER

Lead Visitation Specialist (Santa Ana)

FT/40 hrs. Interacts directly with clients and visitors to ensure safety and wellbeing of all participants. The Lead Visitation Specialist focuses on enhancing services to families that will increase their ability to reunify. Ability to recognize symptoms of problem behavior and conditions of adults and children indicative of inappropriate interactions between them, to intervene appropriately, and to identify when and how to terminate a monitored visitation. Ability to work effectively alone and with others during stressful conditions, including the ability to devise and implement action plans in the event of an emergency. Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, human behavior or a related field and two years of experience providing direct services to children and families in the human services field. Fluency in Spanish is required. Starting pay rate of $23 – $24 per hour.

Unpaid Undergraduate Internship (Santa Ana)

8 hrs./wk. The intern will assist with supervised and monitored visits in our Foster Visitation Center.  In this role, the intern will support families during their weekly visits with children placed in foster care.  Must be in junior or senior year of undergrad program with a clean criminal record.

FAMILY PRESERVATION

Child Care Assistant (Santa Ana)

PT/up to 10 hrs. Responsible to maintain a safe, pleasant, and playful environment for the children of parents attending an in-person, instructor led Parenting Course. Will assist the instructors with facilitating questions and trouble-shooting technical issues during online courses. Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma. Fluency in Spanish, Vietnamese or Arabic preferred. Starting pay rate of $20 per hour.

Wraparound Parent Partner (Santa Ana)

FT/40 hrs. Works directly with families to provide social and emotional support and serve as a liaison between the Family Team and the service systems serving the participants, through a mentoring/coaching relationship. Qualified candidates must speak fluent Spanish and have related, personal, life experience as a parent or legal guardian of a recipient of social services.  Starting pay rate of $24 – $24.50 based on a bilingual differential.

Wraparound Clinician (Santa Ana) 

FT/40 hrs. Will provide therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families with the goal of achieving/maintaining stability for the children and families. Develop and implement client treatment plans. Complete progress notes and enter all information into program database. This position is predominantly field based. Qualified candidates must possess an MFT, MSW, or LPCC, and be registered with the BBS. Fluency in Spanish preferred. Starting salary range of $70,000 – $71,000 per year based on a bilingual differential.

Wraparound Unpaid Undergraduate Internship (Santa Ana)

Community Involvement Manager (Santa Ana)

FT/40hrs. Manage the Community Involvement team in Orange County whose goal is developing a volunteer network and providing resources for families and youth in crisis.  This will include the administration, recruitment, training of volunteers.  Will work alongside the Church and Community Engagement Director to create awareness of volunteer engagement and expedite the timely certification of volunteers, for all aspects of Olive Crest’s church engagement strategy. Qualified candidates must have experience in fundraising, building professional connections and collaborating with local organizations, businesses, and churches to create programs that benefit the community and leverage shared resources. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Starting pay rate is $68,640 per year.

Community Involvement Unpaid Undergraduate Internship (Santa Ana)

15 hrs./wk. Work with CI Coordinator to assist in the intake of donations of goods and services, the management of volunteers and the promotion of Olive Crest in the community.

Unpaid Administrative Intern (San Diego)

PT/10-20 hrs. The Church and Community Engagement Intern is responsible for assisting Olive Crest’s Church and Community Engagement team in San Diego County whose goal is developing sustainable church ministries caring for families in crisis and at-risk children. This will include the administration, recruitment, training and/or coordination of Church Advocates, Care Communities, Safe Families, Foster Families and Biological Families. Will work alongside the Church and Community Engagement team to create awareness to expedite the timely certification of volunteers, for all aspects of Olive Crest’s church engagement strategy.

Unpaid Graduate Practicum (San Diego)

PT/10-20 hrs.  The practicum student will gain hands-on experience supporting foster families and youth. Opportunities to support case management services for 2-4 children including meeting the child’s overall needs, supporting the families’ needs, and learn best practices in supporting reunification when appropriate. You will also have opportunity to learn home studies and hone your skills in social work.

FT/30-40 hrs. Responsible for regional HR needs including employee/intern/volunteer file management, employee assistance, employee relations, employee records tracking, etc. Must have related experience.  Bachelor’s degree preferred. Pay starts at $26 per hour.

Youth Partner- Swing Shift (Goleta)

FT and On-Call. Provide supervision, protection and care of the clients individually and in groups at all times.  This includes developing and maintaining relationships with each client that communicates acceptance, warmth, interest and understanding.  Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.  Starting pay: $24 per hour

Youth Partner- Overnight Shift (Goleta)

FT and On-Call. Responsible to supervise teenage girls in a residential program during sleeping hours. This includes completing and documenting regular bed checks, ensuring the location of each client, and ensuring a safe environment. Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.  Starting pay: $24 per hour.

Foster Family/Mental Health

Clinician/Case Manager (Las Vegas)

FT/40 hrs. This position will provide assessment and mental health services (individual and family therapy) to children and families in home-based, community, and office settings as well as therapeutic case management services to children in treatment and shelter foster homes. Case management services will include supervising the placement for each assigned foster child and ensuring that each child’s needs are met and that each foster home is in compliance with Olive Crest Agency policies. Qualified candidates must have a Master’s degree in psychology, social work, human services, or a related field and must have a valid Nevada state license issued by their respective professional governing board or be license eligible. Supervision of licensure hours may be available. Experience working with foster youth is preferred. Bilingual fluency (English/Spanish) is also preferred. Background clearance will be required for this position. Must have reliable transportation. Salary range is $65,000 to $70,000 per year.

DEvelopment and administration

HR Recruiter & Administrative Assistant (Spokane)

FT/40 hrs. Responsible for providing administrative support and assistance to the Program Director and Program teams. Responsible for employee recruitment, employee relations, and other employee-related issues for assigned programs. This position will answer calls, greet guests, distribute donation forms, manage office equipment and supplies, schedule maintenance needs, assist in maintaining an organized, clean and professional looking office environment.  The position will provide Program Director and staff with support such as set-up/take down for meetings, prepare printed materials, track purchase orders, data entry and other office-related tasks. Desired qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of communications or high-end administrative experience. Salary range: $23-$27/hour.

INDEPENDENT LIVING PROGRAMS

Independent Living (IL) Case Manager (Clark County / Vancouver, WA)

FT/40 hrs. Provide case management services to 32-35 youth (case load will vary depending on census). Provide foster youth preparing to age out of foster care transitional support services, including but not limited to, housing, education, employment, basic life skills and permanency. Case managers will be responsible for initial intake through exit processes with youth and will serve eligible youth ages 15-23 years old. Services provided will be in compliance to the IL contract from Washington State. IL case managers work on behalf of the youth to equip each youth with the skills to successfully transition to independence. Qualified candidates must have at least a BA in Social Services or similar field. Must have flexible work hours, including some evenings and weekends when needed. Must be able to report to the Vancouver office location. Must have reliable vehicle and be willing to drive with mileage reimbursement. Salary range $23-$25/hr DOE.

Church Engagement

Church Engagement Outreach Associate (Clark County / Vancouver, WA)

FT/40 hrs. The Church Engagement Outreach Associate is responsible for the execution of Olive Crest’s church engagement strategy in assigned areas of the PNW with the goal of administration, recruitment, training, and/or coordination of Church Advocates, Care Communities, the ILS Program, and Host Families. Will partner with Community Involvement Coordinators to create awareness of opportunities for church ministries and individuals to serve vulnerable children and families and work closely with the development team to grow church financial support. Bachelor’s degree preferred, or at least four years of relevant experience. Must have three or more years of work in a local church or non-profit organization. Must have experience in raising financial support. Must maintain a valid Washington Driver’s License and clean driving record in accordance with Olive Crest’s auto insurance policy. Must have a philosophy of support for at-risk children and families in line with the mission, visions, values, and statement of faith at Olive Crest. Salary range $67,800k-$75k DOE.

Caregiver Support Program

Behavioral Case Aide (Spokane) 

FT/40 hrs. Provide one on one trauma informed support to assigned youth to augment normal supervision for children/youth whose behaviors or developmental needs are challenging in a family setting. Therapeutic support ensures the health, safety, and well-being of the child and/or youth in their current placement or in the community. This role helps to provide a supportive environment for the child/youth to help facilitate personal growth and increase a child/youth’s ability to maintain successfully in their identified placement. This role reports to and communicates with their assigned Caregiver Support Specialist. In addition, a Behavioral Case Aide will participate in program training and organizational meetings.  Must have flexibility in terms of range of hours and days/times of visits.  Must have reliable transportation. Hourly range: $21-23/hr.
