For the last five decades, Olive Crest has been dedicated to preventing child abuse by strengthening, equipping, and restoring children and families in crisis One Life at a Time®.  In the United States, 1 in 7 children have been victims of abuse and neglect. In 2020, 143 child fatalities were attributed to maltreatment in California. That is at least 143 lives that could have been saved if the proper services and resources were available to those hurting families.

Child abuse can be prevented by addressing the risk and protective factors for individuals, as well as their communities and society at large. Olive Crest is actively redefining the way that children in crisis are cared for and equipped for success. It is our belief that every child deserves a strong family.
